The blockchain stores only SDC transactions, permanently. Chat and Market data are stored in a folder on the file system. The client will automatically maintain the folder where chat messages and market listings are stored by deleting data that has expired, everything that doesn’t belong to you. Your own history of chat and market transactions will be archived/saved though, even if they have expired.
If I send a chat message, my client first encrypts it before broadcasting it out to the whole network. Every node that gets it will relay it to other nodes until it propagates across the whole network. So everyone downloads a copy of the encrypted msg, but nobody can decrypt/read it except for those with the correct private key.
Market listings can be thought of as a type of Chat message, albeit a public message rather than a private message. Hence, the Market is built on top of the Chat framework.
Transferring files via Chat should not be difficult for the team to implement at some point.
I converted some SDC to shadow recently, but I don’t know how to convert them back to SDC.
I am getting the following errors :
Not enough system and or owned outputs for the requested amount. Only 0 anonymous outputs exist for coin value: 2.00000000
Error generating transaction : No combination of coins matches amount and ring size.
On the right bottom it also says that the wallet is locked. I’ve tried sending my shadow both to stealth and normal addresses. Also I can see my shadow transaction (when I received them) and I can also see my shadow on the top right side of the wallet, but not on the left side.
Is there something that I am missing? What should I do?
Why do you not jump onto IRC or SLACK and someone will be able to help more easily than going back and forth here.
I made a paper- single wallet on http://shadow.blockexplorer.cc/paperwallet/
I used the single wallet info. I have downloaded and Synced the shadowcash wallet for windows. I used the importprivkey command in the console and it seam to have worked. (Private key was used) I do also see my Public key listed in the receive coin area.
However my shadowcash will not reflect in the wallet. Is there any other way I can get it out to a Exchange?
Hope you guys can help.
Most government agencies, universities and research institutes now have access to this revolutionary technology, which offers spectacular computing speed and power on a completely different scale to anything used before. These machines work by making direct use of quantum mechanical phenomena, such as superposition and entanglement, to perform operations on data. In addition to being trillions of times faster than earlier computers, they can be made absolutely secure, too. The machines’ encryption techniques are virtually unbreakable, due to the almost unimaginable number of instructions being executed simultaneously.
what he’s saying is ISP level snoopers can prove you sent a message to someone, they have no idea what the message is, who it was intended for, and or what private key it was signed with if sent from an address.
Same goes for using I2P/TOR… ISP level snoopers can still pickup that you’re using I2P or TOR, so that would mean I2P and TOR aren’t anonymous in this context either…
Interesting. So if the government declares TOR/I2p illegal then ISP would be able to track users who are using TOR with relative ease, no?
